Frequently Asked Questions
Once you login on the mobile app, for Parents, we recommend completing the “Getting to Know You - Parents” activity and then for Athletes, complete the “Getting to Know You - Athletes” activity. Once you fill that out, you’ll receive more personalized recommendations based on your needs.
On Home you can also peruse the latest guides and then navigate to Search and check out the Featured Programs, Routines and Bundle. There are also Posts that you can read there.
To discover more activities, in the app, navigate to Search, and then use the “Filter” button at the top to narrow down the type of content you’re looking for and then tap the “View Results” button.
When you create your first reminder, To Do, or join an organization page or challenge that includes push notifications, you’ll be prompted with a screen titled “Enable Notifications”, just tap OK, and then on the next screen tap “Allow”.
If you disabled notifications initially and want to enable them, on your phone, go to Settings > Notifications and then find SpringSpot. Then, next to "Allow Notifications" turn the slider On, by moving it to the right. The slider will be green and you will see additional settings you can modify.
Lastly, if the above doesn’t work, check your Profile > History and To Do List to be sure it’s synced, and then once you confirm, you can delete the SpringSpot app, then re-download it from the App Store or Google Play Store. Then login and follow the instructions at the beginning of this question.
For Family Memberships, the account holder can add up to four (4) additional members to your account. They will each have their own separate account and be able to access all the premium content available to Family Members.
To add members, follow these steps:
Go to Profile > Account Preferences
Next to Family, tap “Manage members”
Tap box to add member emails
Note that only the account holder, or user that paid for the Family membership, will be able to add and remove members from their account.
Once you add a new member on the Manage members view in the SpringSpot mobile app, that member will receive an email notification that you've added them to your membership and be instructed to download the app and then sign up.
SpringSpot wants to help recognize when you’ve done something good for your health. That’s why every time you complete an activity, you’ll earn Bolts. Activities can have different Bolt values, depending on the time it takes to complete, the impact it can have on your health and other areas, they will vary.
Over time you’ll be able to redeem these Bolts for Rewards.
You can see the progress you’re making by going to Profile then viewing the number to the right of “Bolts earned”. We recommend completing atleast 2 activities per week to build up some healthy habits and enjoy seeing your progress.
It can be rewarding to see what you’ve accomplished, and you can view your History of completed items in Profile. Just tap “View” to the right of History.
In your History, you’ll be able to see how many Bolts you earned per completed Activity as well as the date and time you completed your activity.
Under each history item, you can tap “View stats” to see more details of that item, such as time taken to complete, reps completed, or weight lifted (if relevant), as well your answers if you took a quiz. You’ll also see if you earned any bonus bolts for an activity there.
If you find an activity that you enjoy or want to share with family and friends, simply navigate to the content you want to share, and in the top right-hand corner of the screen, tap the icon with a box with an up arrow coming out of it and then you’ll be prompted with different sharing options - text message, email, copy link, etc.
If you have multiple members of your family, you may want to toggle between accounts without logging out and in every time. Simply do the following:
Go to Profile > Switch accounts
Tap in box that says “Add email” and enter the email address for the account you want to be able to switch between
Enter the email address and then tap the green ‘+’ button
You’ll be prompted to enter the password for that account and then tap [Add].
Repeat to add multiple accounts to be able to switch between.
Note that if you’re switching accounts, before starting an activity, check your Profile page to make sure you’re logged in to the correct account.
Note that if you log out of your account, then the added accounts will be logged out as well.
